Tyler Perry is one of the greatest playwrights to step on the scene in the last decade. His talents have allowed him to produce movies, plays, and a television show. He moved to Atlanta with $12,000 and he used it in its entirety to promote his first play. Inspired by a quote from Oprah, Perry took his journal writings and made them come alive in his plays. From Madea's Family Reunion to his latest movie Why Did I Get Married, Perry has struggled to become successful. His success did not take off until 1998 after the progress of his play began to bring him fame and fortune. However, he appreciates everything about life and he does not mind sharing it with the world.

Why Did I Get Married is a fantastic movie to watch. Tyler Perry wrote, produced, directed, and was one of the main characters in the movie. He has gained valuable knowledge that allows him to capitalize in these areas. It displays four different types of relationships that are relevant to all ages. It teaches individuals about the struggles and challenges that modern relationships can bring to the sacred bond. The movie is creative in the aspects of demonstrating different emotions that males and females express when there is a problem within their relationship. The captivity of these emotions makes the movie enjoyable to the audience.
